Our Story · Est. 2019
Sophie and I met in the Cities while we were starting our careers and finishing school. Our first house came with just under an acre — and that little patch of ground was all it took. We fell in love with working our own land and started chasing a quieter life.
Sophie grew up with horses in Faribault; I grew up around agriculture with a healthy love of everything outdoors. When the chance came to move to Long Prairie, we jumped — and we've been living this life with all of our animals ever since.
Our dream is simple: use this farm to feed our community.

From the Coop & the Pasture
Multicolored, rich eggs laid daily by our free-range hens — washed and ready. Every carton looks a little different, and that's the point. $2 a dozen, $3 for an 18-pack.
We raise batches of meat birds on grass each summer — typically one or two batches of about fifty birds. They live outdoors, move to fresh pasture, and it shows in the bird.
First batch ready the third week of June. Email or message us to reserve yours.

From the Garden & the Kitchen

Pumpkins, gourds, watermelon, sweet corn, and apples — picked when they're ready and not a day before. Look for the wagon at the end of the driveway.
Dillan's apple butter and apple pie filling, put up in small batches from our own apples. When it's gone, it's gone until next fall.
Availability moves with the season — the Stand Board above is the source of truth, same as the sign out front.
Custom Work · Since 2022
We do custom small square baling around Long Prairie. If you've got a field that needs putting up, we're the folks to call.
We may not run the most cutting-edge equipment — most of it has been making hay since before we were born — but we work hard and we put out a quality bale. Tight, square, and stacked the way you'd stack them yourself.
